Drawing from a lifetime of classical training, international performance experience, and professional teaching, I strive to make every lesson both artistically inspiring and educationally sound.
Private Music Lessons
Music has the power to build confidence, creativity, discipline, and joy at every stage of life. Whether you’re enrolling your child in their very first lesson, returning to music as an adult, or preparing for auditions, performances, or college study, each lesson is thoughtfully tailored to your individual goals. As a Certified Texas Educator, I bring a strong foundation in pedagogy—the art and science of how people learn—alongside over a decade of teaching experience. My lessons are engaging, developmentally appropriate, and personalized to each student’s learning style, blending structured technical instruction with creativity, curiosity, and encouragement. I teach children, teens, and adults of all experience levels in a welcoming and supportive environment. Instruction is available in English, Spanish, and French, and I am also proficient in Portuguese, allowing me to work comfortably with multilingual students and families while coaching repertoire in several languages.
My musical foundation is rooted in the classical tradition. I began studying classical piano at the age of eight, continuing through my collegiate studies under concert pianist Francisco Rocafuerte and piano pedagogue Morley Grossman. I later joined the vocal studio of acclaimed baritone Benjamin Cox, where I continued my classical vocal training developing the technical foundation that continues to inform my teaching today. As an active professional performer, I bring real-world experience into every lesson, helping students develop not only excellent technique, but also artistry, musicianship, and confidence on stage.
